Wakeboarding, like any watersport, is all about just getting out on the water and having fun. Arguably, the public face of wakeboarding is one of teens and youngsters dressed in oversized clothing do nigh-impossible flips from a colossal wake. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reality is that wakeboarding is a sport that can be enjoyed by anybody willing to give it a try, and that today entertains a vast age range. As proof of that, the last ‘all other divisions’ competition at Quayside lakes in Surrey saw both a six year old and a fifty-six year old competing, and this year they hope the age range to grow again.
