Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Well thats just about it. Just need James to take the boat around to the Rockley Slip tomorrow morning.

Despite the very average weather we only didn't get out on one day (Wednesday)

Saturday: Went around to Swanage and met up with the forum, then a second trip out around Sandbanks later on to show some friends the sights.
Sunday: Went out around Studland Bay later on in the day
Monday: Managed another trip out around the bay.
Tuesday: Fully hot and sunny day out around the bay
Wednesday: No boating :( - drove over to Studland and ate at the Bankes Arms.
Thursday: Evening Firework trip
Friday: Morning Ringoing Trip around Studland plus evening cruise of the harbour.

Ok, so it was more like Autumn than summer but we were very British about it and just got on with it!

Sounds like a very successful week Martin. We didnt do as much as you although we did get out again today to play with the Cowes Week raggies :D

We've clocked up about 130 miles this week which is pretty good considering the weather.

when you can keep your head when all those around are losing theirs, you obviously haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation

A quick interpretation of my log shows 142 Nautical Miles or 163 Statute Miles for the week, which ties up with the amount of fuel we seemed to need.

If you are really interested then the full video of the week is HERE

This is a long holiday video posted so my son can run through it at school, therefore you may want to fast-forward through some bits!
