Ultimate motorboater well ZAPCATer, charity madness
http://www.facebook.com/groups/onelifetennations/

Jonny's finally gone mad and is undertaking a epic journey to raise money for a very good cause. Anyone who knows his dad, John Lindsay Senior or has been impacted by Cancer in their lives will understand.

Please give generously or what ever you can afford. I have seen very little publicity and wouldnt even consider this in my boat, let alone a ZAPCAT!!

Now in Wales...... bloody nutter, can I remind everyone this is for mens Cancer charity> I imagine John will spend more on fuel than the £530 charity raised. Target is £4000 across the two charities. Please give anything you can afford for a fellow boater.

The guy is not some excentric millionare, he drives a clapped out old Fiesta!!!

John has no support. No big boat chasing him. Therefore if anyone has any media connections, with magazines, local rags, radio. All support would be greatly appreciated. He is a long way off target money to be raised and publicity has been minimal.

Thanks in advance

He is currently embarking on a journey in a 12ft adapted Thundercat, fitted with a 50hp outboard engine. The route is Glasgow, Dublin, Milford Haven, Scilly Isles, Brest, Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Cherbourg, Weymouth and finally to Johns home town of Southampton. He has already braved the route to Milford Haven so far.

Johns Dad is in the closing stages of cancer, therefore he has chosen charity's close to his heart. He has entered into this on shoe string budget, therefore please help support his cause and give anything you can afford. He is a long way off of his target £4000 raised between both charities.

He is raising money for Everyman Male Cancer Campaign:

And is also raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support: http://www.justgiving.com/John-Lindsay1

Johny is off, and covered over 330 miles in one day according to Fiona Pascoe. He has gone from Milford Haven Wales, to Guernsey. Good to see he has got going again after some personal issues and missing his weather window.

Personally I think he is mad :)

Thankyou. Really appreciate it.

Some more news from Fiona Pascoe

"Just had an update today from John........ his bottom is numb his eyes are all swollen but in fine spirit...

He said there was dense fog along the Bristol and English Channels... nearly hit lands end.. just saw it in time!! There were loads of Dolphins jumping in front of his boat along the Bristol Channel cheering him on and around the North of Cornwall...

Today the wind has picked up so he is going to stay another night in Guernsay and tomorrrow afternoon pop over to Herne for a cuppa then meet up with Julia Daynes and Co for a few drinks and stay the night - Sunday morning at 6am he will leave and go to Alderney then Cherbourg and then the last leg to Southampton - he is looking at getting into the Southampton waters around 2 - 3pm SUNDAY and would love as many boats as possible to come and see him in if you are around! will let you know more news as soon as I get it!! he's taken footage and photos so we will post them when he's back!"
