It's only the weather holding us up now. Looking good tomorrow but I'm chopping down trees :(

I'd be interested dependant on when your thinking, I was planning on having a ride over sometime anyway :)

May have to hire a trailer (was going to leave the boat on the river this year but 6mph is getting to me already)

I think I remember you being in the same predicament... No tow car, no trailer. You can always come out on mine if you don't get sorted and if you can't make this meet, we can agree another time.

Cheers Mark that would be good but it may all turn out well a friend of mine is talking about buying a Audi Q7 and I can hire a trailer so you never know. In fact there's a few in the marina where I used to moor, I wonder if they would miss one for a week or so :)

I'm also trying to convince the gaffer to swap the Qashqai for a pathfinder seeing as I have the little smart car for work now.

Any idea on dates yet, how about a tie up with t 15s classic speed boat weekend?

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

a wee note, not putting you guys off, just giving you some info, on Sunday most of the berths at Mermaid Quay are reserved for us.... and the area from the inner speed zone at Mermaid Quay is restricted for our use during the events on Sunday.

would be great to meet you guys... :D

Sounds like a plan to me, makes perfect sense. Re berthing, not a problem, Penarth Marina have numerous visitor berths which hopefully I can get a deal on. Shall we call that a date? :D
