Do you want to have a go with my Erertia prop before I ebay it? see if that helps at all, It made a real difference to my boat. Its a Alpha 1 Gen 2 fitment and a 21" pitch if that will fit?

I remember someone else on here wanted to have a go with it but I can't for the life of me remember who. So shout up please if you still want to try it :)

Thanks Gaz but I have a Volvo Penta Sx and run a 21 pitch now. The prop I borrowed was a 22X14,25 four blade stainless.
When using it I felt a real difference but even more so now going back to the old prop.

I have been thinking of fitting these to my Sessa as I Know a few others that have fitted these and been very pleased with them. The only problem that makes me a bit conserned is the forklift arms wnen lifting the boat out the water and what happens to the tabs. Would they move if the arm of the forklift was under the tab or break the tab with the weight of the boat on then?

Trim tabs been amended but still waiting on news of the starter. To be honest work, son still in rugby season and most of all weather have meant zero opportunity to get down there anyway.

I have fitted retractors as have been mentioned, these bring the tabs up very slightly above the plane of the hull and were specifically recommended for beaching or fork lifting. I'll take some photos when I'm down.

Robbie,

I've amended the tabs but still haven't managed to move the brackets, in the meantime here is a video of a guy that has fitted the retractors. Whilst I wouldn't want him working on my boat they demonstrate them really well and as someone else has commented a classic bit where he gets distracted by his drive.
