Always pays to play more useless than you are, people always like to help someone who has no idea in my experience. But truly, I know very little it is just retention of information on my side

From the side photo it looks like they will pull up nicely, you could always lubricate them as your tightening to keep the scraping to a minimum

After listening...well reading actually all your kind help, Gaz, Jokaboat, Ed, Salamis et all and having a long chat with Jokaboat today I decided to go for it....

I now have two very shiney (not for long) new ubolts fitted....yippeeee!!
