Always pays to play more useless than you are, people always like to help someone who has no idea in my experience. But truly, I know very little it is just retention of information on my side :D

From the side photo it looks like they will pull up nicely, you could always lubricate them as your tightening to keep the scraping to a minimum

After listening...well reading actually all your kind help, Gaz, Jokaboat, Ed, Salamis et all and having a long chat with Jokaboat today I decided to go for it....

I now have two very shiney (not for long) new ubolts fitted....yippeeee!! :mrgreen:
