Mind you if I shed some ballast (Cap'n and Joridapilot) I could probably have made a few more knots

I take exception to that nasturtium, I was only balancing out the lateral trim, if it wasn't for me and the Cap'n you would be going round in circles with the starboard gunwale under water!!!!!!!!!

That rooster tail won't be welcomed by the yachties in Southampton Water albeit a great sight to behold.

I agree. The rags and sticks brigade would have to catch me first it it was mine.
the boat is on twin cummings diesels with NXT drives i believe.

Just love the rooster tail. And look at the Solent a typical week day flat and calm.

I actually had Monday and Tuesday off to fell a tree in the garden. was hoping to have it all done on Monday and then go boating Tuesday but wind was too strong Monday so not finish until late Yesterday. I would have been out there playing too otherwise.

But unfortunately not able to keep up at that speed.

Legs painted and back on FT
The transom shields will be painted when the engines come out and painted. this will prob be 2013 as 2012 wish to get a full season boating in,

I have spoken to the person who painted the legs and now understand what is involved. legs blasted back to bare metal acid etched at least 8 coats of primer then colour then several coats of lacquer.
When the engines come out all parts are painted and then re-assembled. He has painted a pair of KAD44's in a Sunseeker at Saxon and the engines look better than new
