Aviator

Postby zippy » Wed Sep 28, 2011 9:11 pm

Well Ian has had this section to himself for long enough now!

We bought Aviator this summer and have since spent some time tidying her up and getting used to her!

she is a 2004 build XRS37 with D6 350's through DPR drives. there is a lot of history to this boat and just about anyone i speak to locally knows her! good thing or bad thing time will tell but so far we are delighted with her!

i have wanted a Hunton since i first got boats of my own 8 years ago. we looked at a good few Hunton's in the process and Martin from Hunton was a legend and gave us so much time and effort!

so... here she is...

That's the time, as reported in that other place. Hope she has fully recovered now?

Martin is certainly a legend, he is not a salesman (as you would expect) he is someone with a passion for the brand. He even owns a Hunton RS 43 so true belief in the brand.

Love the black interior furnishings.

Not seen that bronze coloured dash before. is that a 1 off?

the dash is actually stainless. think it must be the light reflecting on it as it does look bronze in the picture!!

A stunning looking bit of kit.

I take it that it must have a very soft ride, with that very deep 'V', to keep the vino in place too...
