Let's not forget that say, a fairline targa 38 ( 1 ft longer) you would get a couple of cabins, separate shower full galley and dining area as well as above deck space for seating and lounging....
In all honestly the hunton is not spacious for it's length but when you open the loud levers all is forgiven!!!!!

salamis wrote:Fairline boats are primarily based around cruising in comfort where Hunton boats are unashamedly based on going fast safely in most sea conditions. Both would easily take you on a long run down to the west country, with the fairline you can take a number friends for a weeks break but the crowds and adulations when you arrive wil be centred around the Hunton not another fairline!

They are of course lacking in other areas! Having had that sort of boat before the hunton wins hands down for us!! It's a no brainer but then we all make choices!
Aviator is ashore still having some minor repairs, corrections after the last outing and I'm thinking whilst she is out, to fit the bow thruster at the same time but as I'm away it's a bit tricky organising that this week so maybe something for next week!
Be interested to hear suggestions from people as to how best clean the stearn gear. As it's out of the water make sense to clean her having been in the water for a month or so!! I have never managed to get a really good shine on the props and drives after they have come out of the water!
