hi there got a 1986 flipper 470gt speedboat with a yamaha 50hp same year outboard , i took the boat down to dell quay marine services for a full service and to investigate stiff steering anyway the outcome was that the cable needs replacing but the boat mechanic has said they dont make the cable anymore .
Does anyone know what my options are , weather i could get a cable made up etc regards Andy.

life moves pretty fast if you dont stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.

According to Google it's still available: http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en& ... a=N&tab=wf unless yours is a specific type? Anyway, worst case, you'd need a new cable and steering rack/wheel.

thanks nik funnilly i got a call from the mechanic that day to say hed found one cheers mate
