SB&R Show - 21st - 22nd May 2011

So who is going this year, anyone bringing their boat? We are planning on going on the Sunday, missed out last year due to being burgled

I'll be there, again not sure on day, but probably Saturday. Try to avoid events on their last day as everyone always seems to want to rush home...

Great stuff

So how do we make it look nice. I'm thinking of some display stands with readers boats pics and some snapshots of the forum showing some interesting discussion threads.

Anyone volunteer to bring their boat to the stand this year?

A display of essential safety kit?

Any other ideas?

Hmm, well we have our trailered Bayliner 185.

Might be interested in bringing it down, would have to think about security/insurance etc.

Cool. We'll have to find out how much space we have first though. Anyone from the mag care to give us a clue?

Security no problem, it's 24hrs and CCTV. Please bear in mind though for boat displays and I suspect there may be only two places, you must commit to the 2 days and only access/leave at certain times. I suspect Adrian/ Sue will provide beer/guiness and bacon muffins though.

Right chaps. Adrian has confirmed the stand, I have a gazebo and some display stands. We would love to have a boat on show again and we need 2 or 3 people to be around the stand each day. I will be there both days. Hopefully we can do an rnli fundraising thing, anyone volunteer to set it up?
