Anyone got any plans for the weekend where to go what to see etc?

Possibly very bad news on this one.

All the signs are that the Holiday Letting Company we booked the holiday property through has gone bust with my money :( :(

If anyone in the Poole area has any info on:

Harbourfront Properties - 34, Panorama Road, Sandbanks
Harbourfront Lettings - 18, Parkstone Road, Poole

(these may be legit and still trading, but if so then they have become very hard to contact)

Doom and gloom in our house tonight :(

We are going to be limited on what we can do in the evening as my brother has 2 x 2 year olds and I have a 2 year old and 6 month old so they will all be in bed at the rnli hotel at about 8pm so the day time will be the main priority for us. Would be good (weather permitting) if we could find somewhere in the day to perhaps do a beach BBQ/picnic of some sort with all the sb&r crew and families??!

I think there are some vague ideas, dbp and I ate supposed to be getting together. Perhaps we can discuss over a beer in Alderney.

Oh no. I work down there but am not due down for a week. I will ask around though and let you know if I can find anything out. Let me know if you hear anything else.

Looks like we have been scammed :( :( :(

Both Harbourfront Properties (Closed) and Harbourfront Lettings( re-named on Companies House to "Performance Plastering") have vanished.

18, Parkstone Road which is the original address of Harbourfront Lettings is now PS Property Shop and some apartments full of Polish People. However, when I asked one of the Polish men where Harbourfront Lettings is, they pointed at the PS Property Shop and said they were there but closed.

30 Panorama Drive (Harbourfront Properties) is now a different company.

35 Chetnole Close (the registered address of Harbourfront Lettings) is an empty property

23A Washington Crescent (another registered address) is another set of flats.

So at the moment we have no holiday in Poole (and no money!)

So its onwards with the internet research to track this guy down and also to see if we can get another holiday.

Martin,

This is definately worth a letter to the BBC, regardless of whether you get your money back or not!!

Have you contacted the fraud office? Also did you pay by credit card?
