My boat is currently on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0697107423

Fletcher Arrowstreak 160 GTS Black Max Speed Boat

Mercruiser 3.0 LX (135bhp) with Alpha One Gen II Stern Drive

I've owned this boat since March 2009 and have had lots of fun with it. I've only used it in fresh water on Loch Ness and Loch Oich. The previous owner used it on Loch Lomond.

This is a great sports boat with seating for six with the back to back seats folding down into sun loungers. There is a tow eye on the transom and we've used it for water ski-ing, wakeboarding and towing inflatables. It has a pop on cover, fenders and plenty of storage space. All the gauges on the boat work and the engine has been well maintained with oil and filter changes each year. It runs smoothly and has good compression across all cylinders. There is an automatic bilge pump.

During the 2 seasons I have owned it I have replaced the spark plugs, starter motor, fuel pump, blower, floor carpet and added a new FE36 (Halon Replacement) fire extinguisher. It has also had oil/filter changes and fuel filter changes each year.

The previous owner replaced the impeller at the end of the 2008 season and changed the gearbox oil so this is not due until next season. He also had a new fuel tank made up and fitted.

The boat comes on a Fletcher trailer with ALKO running gear. The previous owner replaced the axle and brakes. I've just replaced the brake cable and bought a new wheel with tyre so you are good to go.

The boat is not perfect, there are scuffs here and there on the exterior and the seats are split/cracked in places, especially at the rear but it looks great in the water and if I was keeping the boat I would have the seats re-trimmed. The rear right corner (around bilge hose output) has had some paint and this doesn't match the rest of the red stripe, pictured on ebay. It is mechanically sound and I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it. It will make a great first boat for someone or an upgrade from something smaller.

The boat is currently fitted with a 19P prop which is great for pulling a wakeboarder out of the water. I bought a brand new Mercury Virage 21P prop last year which is great for cruising and getting more top end. A deal could be made which includes this.

I'm reluctantly selling the boat because I'm going abroad in a couple of months. I've only had it out 2 weekends this year since changing the oil and filters. The boat can be seen running on muffs at my house and possibly in the water.

Any questions please call me on 07740 087967.

Hi Blued

Just been reading a post on the Fletcher Forum page, about a bloke who has driven tall the way to bonny Scotland with his Flethcer and its got a few 'issues' at the start of his hols, dont know if you could offer some advice on where he could locate parts up that way. I have sent him the link to this page in case he wants to salvage his hols and buy yours!

I can't post on the Fletcher forum yet as my membership is pending approval! I buy most of my parts online because I'm quite far north but if he is at Lomond then it might be worth taking the boat over to Stirlings Marine. They are a Yamaha dealer (as far as skis go) and they're really good over there so might be able to get him out on the water. Maybe you could pass this info on I'm not sure how long my account will take to approve!

PS thanks for the plug
