The Red Arrows have just gone past here heading for Northern Ireland, think they are due with you later today, no doubt I'll get to see them come past heading South shortly

Well the weather in terms of Wind/Sea State was better than we thought.

We launched from Rockley which was a new one for us as Cobbs Quay has priced itself out of the market (£35 as opposed to £48 - plus the trailer parking is much cheaper as well)

A nice slipway which is available at all tides, we launched at low tide. Local dinghy school also launched but soon cleared. Easy slip to use but 2wd vehicles may find that the wind blown sand makes it slippery

We got around to Swanage (which was a surprise to us given the forecast). Passed H20 Ringo'ing on the way (took some video). And found the others rafted up at the harbour wall, so it would have been rude not to hang off the raft.

By my reckoning, Gazgen, YingYang (Colin), DPB101(Dominic), Jokaboat (Colin) and us.

The Jokaboat and Gazgen turned up and provided the passers-by with some entertainment by pulling the entire raft to the shore and climbing aboard, by the time this was completed an appreciative audience had grown.

The sea had really got up in Poole Harbour entrance when we returned, now safely tied up at Salterns

Great pics Martin, I'm currently holed up in an rnli college bedroom with a 2 year old and 7 month old that won't go to sleep! I was hoping to meet you all for the BBQ but didn't know when you were planning on doing it and by the time I'd text joka you were about to start although I did head over to the ferry to studland from sandbanks but the queue was far too long for the ferry and I didn't know if you would of still been there when i got over so headed back.

I'm sure I saw you all go past at swanage but you were quite a way out so couldn't be sure. Strange being here for the sole reason of the Poole meet and then not meeting anyone! Always next year.

Anyway looking forward to seeing all the pics.

Sorry we missed you. When I saw H2O with his Starcraft completely loaded with people I assumed you were with him. The wind really got up in the afternoon and we took some friends out who had dropped in. We got back out as far as the Harbour Entrance but the wind meant we were taking water over the bows, once we turned around and headed back in it was smoother.

great day out thank you to everyone involved, a few firsts for us, rafting up, bungee anchors and realizing we can go much closer in that we would have gone in the past, all capped off with a few beers

great shots guys...knew i should have brought the camera kit, but it was just another (heavy) bag to carry
when you can keep your head when all those around are losing theirs, you obviously haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation

Some great photos. The 3 boats rafted up (I assume when you had your bbq) is superb. Thanks for sharing.

Out of interest l logged 34 Nm at an average of 15 knots max 34. Another first for the weekend was towing two ringos and both of us ripping on board. Not to mention cem's fresh mackerel Matt and jorida take note. Very tasty they were too :D

You're telling me that fish on the BBQ wasn't from the supermarket? Don't believe it for one second, where's the proof!!? :D

The photos of the boats at studland look great.
