Talking about Launching Ramps

Postby Capn Jack » Mon Feb 20, 2012 12:49 pm

We wouldn't need better trailers if we had ramps like those in the USA or down- under.

In complete agreement..............These are Aussie ramps, the last one shows the truck with its wheels clear, albeit the drawbar is quite long.
All these slips are within 10km of each other.

I had a Holden SS Ute but it had to go as I got married and got a Labrador - wife wouldn't travel in the back! :-)

400hp and rear wheel drive - brilliant!

Blimey dpb, you're still around then???

Anyway....you won't be worrying about launching ramps any more with your new beautiful Sunseeker.

Actually, come to think of it, are you dry stacking or mooring?

Hi Cap'n.
Yep, still around!
We have taken a berth at Davis Boatyard next to Cobbs Quay.
Will be interesting to see how the new bridge effects movements.
I have calculated that we will be pass through with the bridge closed at least some of the time.
Maybe a folding radar arch project for next winter!!!!
Still out on the hard for now but should be in the water for easter.

Folding arch sounds interesting.

I'm guessing you have done, or had some scraping done, by the look of the props and the antifoul. Will you be re antifouling before she goes in? Those props look in good order, just requiring some cosmetic renovation.

All she has had is a jet wash when when she was lifted.
A proper clean and re antifoul is one of the next jobs on the list!!!
