We have family in Cardiff and I am a Bristolian and have spent many hours (days!) looking at Flat Holm and Steep Holm from Weston/Barry/Brean. However, having sailed in the Bristol Channel a couple of times in my youth I know its a challenging area so would want company and also need perfect conditions for my little boat.

Would be nice to come over on a Friday evening and stay Fri/Sat night to make a weekend of it. (If we're really keen we could drop in to Kewstoke on the way home, unless you fancy beaching in Sand Bay sometime? It's all soft mud as you know
