It was silt that clogged both the engines filtres and Ian sorted it out in his normal confident manner, and we did pull in next to the cafe' so all good in the end.
We might have gunned it a little early leaving but trust me there was nothing in that harbour that had a prayer of catching us!!!

My fourth photo showing the big hanger shed with drystack writen on top is Trafalgar Wharf.
The water between us and the shed is where we hit ground zero.

I tell you what Baasboat, I know you are having some stuff to deal with at work but surely, you could make a living catching fish like that so regularly  On a side note, how are things progressing work wise?

Hi

I watched Monty Halls series on fishing in Cornwall - dont think I'll be taking that up as a career!
I finished a week ago, so am now unemployed :( and looking for a new role, there isnt much to apply for and those roles I am applying for I'm getting rejected as either over-qualified (grrr) or not having the exact experience they are looking for - that wouldnt have been an issue a few years ago as they would just have looked at skills sets and ability but now the market is flooded with candidates so they are being very choosy who they want to interview, they can pick someone with exactly the experience they need, which would be great apart from the areas that I have most experience in are as dead as a ransid kipper!

So, if anyone has suggestions of what I can do with my passion for boats and fishing, I'm open to suggestions!

regards

keep trying and keep hoping- eventually something will turn up - in the mean time, if ur life is anything like mine - enjoy the rest and time off and spend as much time as possible boating. hope it all works out in the end
