British Columbia based Campion has announced it will be building craft for Infinyte Marine who specialise in electric powered touring and utility boats.

Campion management have said that the new arrangement fits perfectly with their green philosophy and the new partnership will be a perfect fit. "We are honoured that Infinyte Marine has the confidence in Campion to produce their unique products. Their product line definitely fits within our green philosophy," said Brock Elliott, Campion Marine general manager, in a statement.

Infinyte Marine Inc. has recently launched a significant new line of electric boats that creates a new category of watercraft; whisper quiet, pollution free, affordable and very easy-to-use. The Infinyte brand Electric Touring Boat and Electric Utility Boat both feature a simple 'turn of the key and go!' electric propulsion system, Joystick steering and lots of comfort features.

The Infinyte Marine line consists of the 9' I2, the 12' I3 and the 14' I4 models. As far as we know there are no plans afoot yet to bring these craft to the UK – although they are ideal for the Broads and lakes which do not allow other forms of propulsion.
