Alan Priddy, an ocean adventurer with 37 boating world records already under his belt, is having a boat built in the West Midlands in order to attempt to smash yet another world powerboating record.
Alan hopes to set off from Gibraltar next February to break the record for powerboating around the world, a journey of 24,000 miles, which currently stands at just less than 61 days. The 90ft aluminium boat, called Good Heart, is being built at Micklewrights Structures in Dudley.
