Reputed RIB manufacturer Zodiac has launched three new cabin RIBs: the N-ZO 600, 680 (pictured) and 760. Building on the success of their first high performance cabin N-ZO RIB, these brand spanking new models have eye catching good looks, thanks to fresh hull and deck designs.
Thanks to Italian designer, Vittorio Garroni, who has reportedly developed the new models ‘with the needs of recreational boat owners in mind’. The latest N-ZO boats have exclusive lines, giving them a unique look. From the CGI images we’ve seen so far, they certainly look eye catching, but we will of course reserve true judgement until we see them in the flesh.
The new deck layouts have been designed to facilitate safe movement on-board and the new ‘Air Console’ (more details on this to come), has been positioned higher to maximise floor space and the useful part of the boat’s interior.
The N-ZO models should also have a spacious aft saloon, which we are told can seat a number of people and will offer direct access to the aft bathing platform. The N-ZO range is equipped with a new bow sunbathing system ‘Reverse & Sun’, which allows an extensive sundeck to be assembled ‘in a matter of seconds’ by simply unfolding the structure.
The new Zodiac shell boasts new technology and has been combined with a pronounced V-hull which Zodiac say will offer ‘unmatched sea keeping and handling’. The high freeboards and generous tubes should also ‘turn the cockpit into a cocoon for passengers.’
So far the new boats have only been seen at their debut in Italy earlier this month, but should soon be making their way over to the shores of the UK soon.
