Garmin’s 2010 BlueChart g2 and BlueChart g2 Vision marine cartography has been designed to match as closely as possible the appearance of paper charts on your chartplotter screen. They make it simple to identify intertidal zones, depth contours, spot soundings, navaids, wrecks and obstructions. Both products provide basic charts, tidal stations, currents, perspective view and fishing charts - but in addition, they allow improved transition between zoom levels and chart boundaries, plus animated data on the direction and strength of currents. BlueChart g2 Vision (pictured) adds to all of this with high-resolution satellite imagery and true Mariner’s Eye View above water or Fish Eye underwater perspective.
